Grand Opening of the Ananas E-Fulfillment Center
To mark the opening of the Ananas E-Fulfillment Center—the first and most advanced facility of its kind in this part of Europe—our team organized a high-profile media event.
The event brought together around 30 representatives from leading mass and business media outlets in Serbia and the region. Speakers included Marko Carević, CEO of Ananas E-Commerce, and Ivana Kampel, Corporate Communications Manager at Ananas E-Commerce.
Attendees had an exclusive opportunity to tour the newly opened Ananas E-Fulfillment Center, an impressive 10,000-square-meter facility designed to meet the highest global standards. Equipped with cutting-edge technological solutions, the center ensures efficient and secure storage of goods. Spanning four levels, the facility stands out due to its state-of-the-art Pick Tower system (multi-level storage) and a 700-meter conveyor belt, which enables seamless transport of goods to any location within the warehouse. This advanced storage system boosts productivity by up to 40% and significantly reduces order preparation time. What sets the Ananas E-Fulfillment Center apart is its unique approach to inventory management, where identical products are stored across multiple locations to optimize efficiency. Additionally, specially designed packing stations and five dedicated courier dispatch points streamline the order fulfillment process.
The opening of the most advanced e-fulfillment center in this region marks a major milestone for Ananas. The event attracted over 30 media outlets, and the accompanying PR campaign generated 34 media articles and several TV segments, introducing a wider audience to Ananas' innovative business model.
